Brisbane type-in 2014

First photos! A great day was had (with fish & chips, 29 degrees, a touch of rain, and of course all the great people of the Australian typosphere! So great to see and meet everyone again. Thanks to Scott for organising).

You know it's a serious when a Fox comes out!
But the Hermes Ambassador was my particular favourite...
Oh, and all those sweet portables.

  1. The Fox is a beautiful machine! I wonder if it is difficult to get ribbons for it.

  2. Looks delightful! Thanks for sharing the photo.

Peter: frontstroke Foxes take the usual half-inch ribbon.

  4. Thanks, Richard! For some reason, in that photo it looked like an unusually wide ribbon to me.

    Amazing! Typing on a Fox!

Everything I read about the type-out sounds lovely. Great people, great machines, great spot in the park and great weather. Maybe you should do it more often...

  9. I was wondering if the evangelical work had yielded any converts on the day. I spot an unfamiliar face in picture 2. Thanks for the pictures, it looks like wholesome fun had by all.
