I apologize for asking a dull technical question, but how do you get such clean shots of your typewriting? I've been taking pictures of mine with my phone (terrible solution) and figure I need a scanner. What do you use?
Hi Brian, I use a basic Epson multifunction inkjet printer, which has a scanner. It doesn't have to be a fancy model! Scan as a .tif and do some basic cleanups in Photoshop (levels and sharpen, in particular whiten the whites), and then resize to a web-friendly .gif. With camera photos, you pick up gradations of light more, which can be harder to correct... hope it helps, rino
I love these kinds of lists, thank you.
